In Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea, Santiago, an old fisherman, struggles for four days with a marlin, the size of a house, relying on a flimsy boat and a fishing line until he finally catches it.

Santiago's only friend, a boy named Manolin, makes sure that Santiago has something to eat and drink, his favorite newspaper, sardines to fish with, and fishing gear, while Santiago fails to catch a single fish.

Every time Santiago struggles, he thinks of Manolin to help himself overcome the difficulties. And just as Manolin was the only person to fully understand and support Santiago's values and sincerity, I want to be a partner like Manolin, who helps founders, who live every day under worse conditions than the old man in the novel, to focus on their essence and grow healthily.

We are still waiting for founders who create new value that has never existed in the world before, who approach the essence of business through countless pivoting, and who are like a raw stone that shines on its own.
